Nigeria’s Ese Brume again brought joy to the nation, as she leapt an amazing day 7.02m to pick up a silver medal on the final day of the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.
Brume, who came out 3rd at the last Olympic Games held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020 improved her initial jumps and came second, behind Germany’s Mihambo, who leaped a jump of 7.09m to win Gold.

Brume’s Season’s best of 7.02m was enough to claim the silver medal, as she now turns attention to the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
