Edo State Polytechnic’s stride in infrastructure revolution has yielded success, as the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement commenced the building of Watchman Chapel in the polytechnic.
The Rector of Edo State Polytechnic, Professor Abiodun Falodun, at the ground breaking ceremony of the Edo state polytechnic’s watchman chapel, expressed gratitude to the superintendent of the WCCRM Pastor Aloysius Ohanebo for such collaboration with Edo State polytechnic. He noted that the level of moral decadence in high institutions and the society at large has necessitated the need to bring the gospel closer to the students.
According to Prof. Abiodun Falodun “this chapel when completed will yield positive results in bringing God closer to the students and improve moral consciousness and decency which will bring academic excellence among students of Edo polytechnic”.
Pastor Aloysius Ohanebo, the general overseer and superintendent of the Watchman catholic charismatic renewal movement in his remark explained that the commissions’ Passion for functional education structure promoted the collaboration with Edo State Polytechnic. He urged the students to allow God dwell in them and emulate the life of Christ as it is the pathway to success and a better tomorrow.
The highpoints of the event were the official laying of block for the commencement of the building of the chapel in the polytechnic and captivating choir ministration by the WCCRM mass choir.
